POSITION SUMMARY
The C&B Specialist serves as the central owner of all compensation, payroll, and benefits operations across Swatch Group Korea's multi-brand structure. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of the full monthly payroll cycle, statutory compliance, FTE reporting, and cost management — supporting both local leadership and Swatch Group HQ in Switzerland.
This position is open to mid-level (3–5 years) and senior-level (6+ years) candidates. The level of independence and advisory responsibility will reflect the successful candidate's experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll & Compensation
- Execute the full monthly payroll cycle across multiple brands: review all changes, validate figures, and coordinate salary transfers
- Collect and verify incentive data by brand; calculate monthly accruals by cost center based on actual vs. target performance; submit to Finance by the 2nd of each following month
- Process annual salary increases, bonus setup, and retroactive payroll adjustments including BSR and Extra payroll cycles
- Maintain the monthly and annual payroll cost forecast; provide variance commentary to Head of HR and Finance
FTE & Headcount Reporting
- Consolidate and maintain the company-wide FTE file, reflecting all joiners, leavers, transfers, and leave of absence cases on a monthly basis
- Prepare and distribute brand-level FTE reports within required timelines
- Update office-side headcount forecasts; produce regular reporting for Swatch Group HQ
Social Insurance & Tax
- Prepare and process monthly 4대보험 and withholding tax payment approvals
- Manage the annual year-end tax settlement (연말정산) end-to-end: scheduling, document collection and review, payroll reflection, and employee communication
- Handle business income and miscellaneous income tax classification and processing
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs: congratulatory and condolence payments, watch loan approvals, long-service awards, seasonal gifts, and group accident insurance renewal
- Process monthly employee purchase tax settlements
Year-end Closing
- Execute year-end closing processes in compliance with internal and statutory requirements
- Prepare and archive required supporting documentation; coordinate with HQ or brand teams as applicable
HR Systems & Compliance
- Manage employee records and approval line setup in BPTS and Flex systems
- Process monthly overtime settlements; prepare annual leave journal entries for Finance
- Compile and submit documentation for semi-annual audits, tax investigations, and government reporting including annual disability employment filings
- Respond to ad hoc public agency data requests within stated deadlines
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Essential Requirements
- 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in Compensation & Benefits, payroll, or HR operations in Korea
- Proven ownership of the full monthly payroll cycle including incentive calculation, annual salary increases, and year-end tax settlement (연말정산)
- Solid working knowledge of Korean labor law: 4대보험, withholding tax, IRP and severance provisions, and statutory filing requirements
- Advanced Excel proficiency: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data validation, and multi-entity reconciliation
- English proficiency sufficient for written communication with Swatch Group HQ — reading group guidelines, responding to regional HR queries, and contributing to English-language reports
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recurring monthly deadlines with consistent accuracy
Preferred Experience
- Background in retail, luxury goods, FMCG, or other fast-moving, multi-brand business environments
- Hands-on experience with HR ERP systems, particularly payroll and HR modules
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-cost-center payroll structures
- Track record of preparing materials for external audits or interfacing with government agencies (NTS, NHIS, MOEL)
