Job overview

 As the Marketing & Communication Manager at Tissot Korea, you will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive brand growth, market share, and customer engagement. This role oversees the full marketing mix—including product launches, digital campaigns, PR, media planning, CRM, and brand events—ensuring alignment with global direction and local business needs. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, retail, e-commerce, and VMD teams, while managing external agency partners. In addition, you will be responsible for effective A&P budget management and for leading and developing the marketing team. Your leadership will directly shape Tissot’s brand presence and business impact in the Korean market.


Key Accountabilities

Building Marketing Strategies

  • Responsible for short-, mid-,and long-term strategic marketing planning, development, and implementation of all Tissot products and campaigns in the Korean local market.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the overall marketing plan, including new product launches, focus items, product strategies by franchise, PR and media plans, digital and promotion plans, and support for e-commerce by providing adapted content and ensuring optimal asset management, as well as regular business-building programs.
  • Manage brand ambassador activities, including ad shooting, global and local events, PPL, and all media exposure-related initiatives.
  • Cooperate with the Sales team to provide in-store activities aligned with brand desirability and to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with VMD for store and event merchandising in line with the marketing calendar and key focuses.
  • Responsible for safeguarding and reinforcing the brand image and quality.


Budget Management

  • Oversee A&P spending projections and budgeting, and be responsible for the achievement of set targets.
  • Define priorities within marketing functions and determine appropriate resource allocation across various initiatives.
  • Ensure that A&P spending is effectively allocated to support retail sales development by franchise.


Communication Contact Point

  • Responsible for liaison with Global Marketing to ensure that Korea’s marketing strategies are aligned with global guidelines.
  • Lead and manage all marketing agencies, and collaborate with PR, media, and ambassador agencies.
  • Responsible for the effective communication of marketing strategies and plans to all Tissot departments and staff.


People Management

  • Ensure that the team is motivated to achieve brand goals in terms of marketing objectives and sales targets.
  • Supervise and develop each team member by clearly defining individual roles and responsibilities.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience in consumer goods within an international company
  • Experience in global premium brands preferred (e.g., luxury cosmetic brands)
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid management and organizational abilities
  • Sensitivity to interpersonal dynamics and human psychology
  • Consistently positive and proactive mindset
  • Strong and resilient personality with proven experience in team leadership and development
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
