Job Overview:

As a Temporary System Engineer, you will manage and maintain the server and network infrastructure while supporting IT operations to ensure seamless business continuity. You will play a key role in IT service management, store support, information security, and infrastructure projects. This position is a temporary role, with the contract ending on December 31, 2025.


Responsibilities:

Server and Network Infrastructure:

  • Install, upgrade, retire, and replace core hardware systems while providing ongoing support.
  • Schedule and conduct regular server maintenance.
  • Design and implement backup processes for servers and associated data.
  • Plan and enhance High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) systems for business continuity.
  • Manage Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPO) distribution.
  • Oversee UPS, HVAC, FMS, and fire extinguishing systems maintenance.
  • Ensure secure server room management, including security systems (e.g., CCTV).

IT Administration:

  • Procure client hardware and software upon IT Head's approval.
  • Submit local payment request documents monthly.
  • Analyze IT cost statistics for ad-hoc requests.
  • Manage IT contracts, KPIs, and asset inventory (hardware and software).
  • Propose and establish IT policies.
  • Oversee hardware disposal processes.
  • Manage Multi-Function Printers (MFP) and related maintenance.
  • Control toner orders and deliveries.
  • Provide basic IT security training.

Store Support:

  • Support store openings, renewals, relocations, and closures.
  • Manage store internet and telephone services in coordination with the company.
  • Administer VPN connections with HQ.
  • Provide IT support for brand-specific needs, including security systems, people counting, and music systems.

IT Service Desk:

  • Resolve incidents and log actions as 2nd-level support.
  • Escalate issues to Group Service Desk (GSD), Technical Account Manager (TAM), or Group IT for higher-level handling.

Project Management:

  • Conduct IT infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgets.

Information Security:

  • Conduct security risk assessments and minimize potential risks.
  • Align with group security standards and guidelines.
  • Raise user awareness on information security issues.
  • Implement security actions with vendors and relevant parties.


Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of progressive experience in IT technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • International certifications are a plus but not mandatory (e.g., PMP, CISA, CCNA, ITIL, MCP/MCSA/MCSE).
  • Strong process orientation with excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in project management and handling complex IT systems.
