Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will lead the planning and execution of Swatch’s integrated marketing strategies in Korea. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth through ATL/BTL campaigns, event management, digital marketing, and marketing communication, while ensuring strong alignment with global HQ initiatives.



Key Accountabilities

1. Marketing Strategy Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive ATL & BTL marketing strategies for new collections and existing products
  • Lead integrated marketing planning across retail, duty-free, e-commerce, and digital channels
  • Localize global marketing initiatives to reflect local market needs
  • Manage customer database strategy and segmentation to improve conversion and market share
  • Analyze campaign performance through KPIs and ROI to drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee POS marketing activities and VMD materials in close collaboration with sales teams
  • Plan and control marketing budgets to ensure cost efficiency and accountability
  • Maintain close communication with HQ marketing teams to ensure global alignment


2. Event Planning & Operations

  • Plan and execute strategic events supporting brand initiatives, retail openings, and product launches
  • Develop creative event concepts, including themes and on-site activations
  • Manage event budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation
  • Prepare detailed event briefing documents covering concept, format, objectives, and execution
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends
  • Oversee financial processes related to event payments and vendor coordination


3. Digital Marketing Management & Execution

  • Strengthen brand awareness through diverse digital marketing activities
  • Build and manage influencer and media partnerships aligned with a young, trendy target audience
  • Drive traffic and sales to e-commerce platforms through digital marketing support
  • Plan, execute, and analyze digital media, SEO, and online marketing performance using KPIs
  • Manage official SNS channels and collaborate with opinion leaders to maximize engagement


4. Marketing Communication Management

  • Manage media and PR strategies to enhance brand image and recognition
  • Develop marketing communication strategies and optimize media mix planning
  • Coordinate local marketing initiatives in alignment with global campaigns
  • Manage external agencies (media, PR, digital, design) to ensure quality and consistency
  • Provide marketing support for new store openings


Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing or a related field
  • Experience in global fashion, watch, beauty, or lifestyle brands preferred
  • Strong expertise in marketing strategy, digital marketing, and PR
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Collaborative and team-oriented working style
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; native-level Korean required
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint essential)
