Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Brand Manager to lead the marketing and sales efforts for Glashütte Original, a distinguished luxury watch brand. The Brand Manager will play a critical role in strengthening the brand's presence, engaging with key stakeholders, and driving both retail and media strategies to achieve business goals.


Roles and Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy and Development

  • Design and implement long-term brand strategies to align with corporate objectives.
  • Identify market trends and competitive opportunities to refine positioning and offerings.
  • Build strategic plans for both retail and wholesale channels to maximize brand visibility and sales.

2. Marketing and Communications

  • Lead all media-related activities, including press releases, media planning, and campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with global teams to adapt international campaigns to local markets.
  • Oversee CRM initiatives to enhance customer retention and personalized marketing efforts.

3. Visual Merchandising and Retail Marketing

  • Ensure the brand's aesthetic standards are consistently represented across all retail spaces.
  • Develop retail marketing programs, such as promotions, product launches, and in-store events.
  • Supervise the creation and distribution of visual merchandising kits and marketing materials.

4. Event Planning and Management

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate brand events, such as exclusive VIP gatherings, product launches, and partnership activations.
  • Build strong relationships with media, influencers, and key industry figures to maximize event impact.

5. Sales Enablement and Reporting

  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop tools and strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Analyze sales data and campaign performance to deliver actionable insights.
  • Report regularly to senior management on key performance indicators and market feedback.

6. Leadership and Collaboration

  • Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with global brand standards.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the Korea office and global brand headquarters.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to uphold brand excellence.



Qualifications and Requirements

1. Professional Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or sales roles within luxury brands.
  • Previous experience in the luxury watch or jewelry industry is a significant advantage.

2. Skills and Competencies

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Expertise in crafting and executing media strategies, CRM, and retail marketing plans.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with digital media platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Korean proficiency is a plus.

3. Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in luxury brand management or digital marketing are desirable.

4. Personal Attributes

  • Creative thinker with a results-driven approach.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for luxury craftsmanship.
